These looked great and I had a wonderful time wearing them around the ski-in ski-out resort we stayed at on our last ski trip. These boots definitely get you noticed and it was great fun raking in the compliments. However, the next trip was to a hotel that was not ski-in, ski-out and we were going to be constantly walking through slushy parking lots, clambering through snowdrifts and tromping down snowy sidewalks to get to dinner, etc. I called the company before the trip to see if there was some way to waterproof/stainproof these for outdoor wear. That was a hard no. They said treating the boots with any such treatment, even the one they make for their other boots, would ruin them. So these are fashion boots only, I'm afraid. Wear outdoors only at your own risk of ruining them.
